REGISTRATION AND GENERAL CONTRACTING PROCESS
Any company may provide goods or services to Frontera Energy and/or participate in its purchasing and contract processes, provided that the supplier is registered on the Single Registry of Suppliers and meets the requirements pertaining to each call for tender.
Suppliers which are invited to enter into contract procedures will be selected through the SICLAR tool (a tool to identify potential suppliers). Applicants are reviewed based on the following criteria: experience, financial capacity, management systems and other related factors.
Submitting the registration to SICLAR does not oblige Frontera Energy to accept or contract with any applicant.
Frontera Energy’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) department is responsible for carrying out all the procedures related to purchasing and contracting.
UK’s Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) awarded Frontera Energy with the Purchasing Policies, Processes and Procedures Certification (PPP) in September 2012 for its efficient actions in the development of the Supply Chain Management.
The certification is widely acknowledged in the hydrocarbon sector, and Frontera Energy and Ecopetrol are the only certified companies in Latin America.
Frontera Energy has obtained, through Bureau Veritas, the re-certification of its Integrated Management System (SGI) as follows:

ISO 14001:2008 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
OHSAS 18001:2007 OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
In October 2013, the Company was inspected and approved according to ISO 50001:200X ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM for the processes related to injecting production water into the reservoir through the injection pads at the Quifa field.
