Any company may provide goods or services for Pacific E&P and/or participate in the purchasing and contract processes conducted, provided that the supplier is registered on the Single Registry of Suppliers and meets the requirements pertaining to each call for tender.

Suppliers who are invited to enter into contract procedures will be selected through the SICLAR tool (a tool to identify potential suppliers). Applicants are reviewed based on the following criteria: experience, financial capacity, management systems and other related factors.

Submitting the registration to SICLAR does not oblige Pacific E&P to accept or contract with the applicant.

In Pacific E&P, the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department is responsible for carrying out all the procedures of purchasing and contracting.

UK’s Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) awarded Pacific E&P with the Purchasing Policies, Processes and Procedures Certification (PPP) in September 2012 for its efficient actions in the development of the Supply Chain Management.

The certification is widely acknowledged in the hydrocarbon sector, and Pacific E&P and Ecopetrol are the only certified companies in Latin America.

Pacific E&P has obtained, through Bureau Veritas, the re-certification of its Integrated Management System (SGI) as follows:

In October 2013, the Company was inspected and approved according to ISO 50001:200X ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM for the processes of injecting production water into the reservoir through the injection PADs in the Quifa field.
