A collaboration between the public and private sectors in Colombia
Since April 2018, the Company has been a part of this initiative led by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. The initiative seeks to reduce opportunities for corruption through public-private dialogue and the exchange of knowledge, with the aim of strengthening the development and the application of measures for the prevention, repression and criminalization of corruption, in accordance with the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.
The Company provides its support and develops specific actions that seek to promote the principles of the initiative through its management, strategy and culture.
Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI)
The Company is part of the EITI, a global standard that promotes the open and responsible management of oil, gas and mineral resources, which is reflected in the strengthening of the governance of the Colombian extractive sector. The standard is a transparency tool for countries to improve the management of resources, income and benefits from the extractive industry.
Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights
The Company was chosen as one of 28 companies that are a part of this international initiative, which offers practical guidelines for organizations that operate in zones of conflict or with fragile governance. These guidelines ensure that public and private security forces are responsible for protecting operations and act within a framework that is respectful of human rights.
